Tracy Smith | Baltimore | Lacrosse

Tracy, a senior attackman and captain at Baltimore City College high school, scored five goals, including the game-winner with one minute left, in the Knights' 10--9 win over defending city champs, Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. The previously unbeaten Engineers have the state's second-oldest lacrosse program (1912); City has the oldest (1902).

Emily Cox | Fairfax, Va. | Marathon

Emily, 18, a senior at W.T. Woodson High, was the youngest female finisher at last week's Boston Marathon, running 3:46.08. She had qualified with a time of 3:31.51 at the 2012 Marine Corps Marathon in Arlington, Va. Emily is continuing a family tradition: Her late grandfather John was 84 when he ran the Marine Corps race in '11.

Derek Pye | Long Beach, Calif. | Track and Field

Pye, 46, won the 45-to-49 age group 60-meter hurdles (8.37) at the masters indoor worlds in Budapest. A special-ed teacher and track coach at Bancroft Middle School, he ran hurdles at Long Beach City College and Long Beach State, but hadn't raced for 19 years before setting a U.S. age-group 60 hurdles record at masters nationals in 2010 (8.09).

Dominique Jackson | Chico, Calif. | Softball

Dominique, a junior first baseman at Pleasant Valley High, hit for a "home run cycle" in a doubleheader against Chico High. She belted a three-run homer and a solo shot in the first game, an 8--0 win, and hit a two-run dinger and a grand slam in a 13--0 victory in the second. Last season's Northern Section MVP, she has verbally committed to Fresno State.

Taylor Crabb | Honolulu | Volleyball

Crabb, a 6-foot senior outside hitter at Long Beach State, had a .469 hitting percentage with 17 kills in a 3--0 win over Cal State--Northridge and a game-high 13 kills in another 3--0 victory over the Matadors two days later. An American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America for the second straight year, Crabb leads the nation in kills per set (4.80).

Simin Feng | Windermere, Fla. | Golf

Feng, a freshman at Vanderbilt, shot a tournament-best 66 for a final score of 209 to win medalist honors by eight strokes at the SEC championship at the Greystone Golf and Country Club in Birmingham. She led the Commodores to their second SEC crown (the first was in 2004), beating South Carolina by 11 strokes.
