Sports Illustrated HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETE OF THE MONTH
Presented by THE U.S. MARINE CORPS
Since our inception 60 years ago, SPORTS ILLUSTRATED has recognized the best up-and-coming amateur athletes from around the country. Now we are introducing the SI High School Athlete of the Month award, presented by the U.S. Marine Corps, which will acknowledge not only students' athletic achievements but also the sort of exceptional character traits—perseverance, integrity, academic success, selflessness, sportsmanship—that make them leaders on the field and in their communities. In June we will choose the SI High School Athlete of the Year from among the monthly winners and other candidates. Do you know an accomplished student-athlete whose impact goes far beyond the scoreboard? Let us know why he or she should be recognized in SI and on SI.com during the coming school year.
Nominations are open at SI.com/HSathlete
