Seth Davis's article on George Raveling was great. It showed how sports and social issues are often intertwined, not separate. Raveling's life and accomplishments have inspired me to keep marching and to use what time I have left to try and make a difference.

While it's hard not to love Gronk, I'm troubled by how much his beer-guzzling skills seem to be celebrated, even though excessive alcohol intake can put people's lives at risk.
I was disappointed to see that the only mention of Stuart Scott's death was in Dan Patrick's column. It just seemed odd that the guy who helped change the way we talk about sports didn't get more recognition.
Not only could Rhett Miller have been a Cowboy but he also could have been a Colt. After the Millers returned the lowly Dallas Texans to the NFL, the franchise went to Baltimore.
In our Jan. 19 story about the college football national championship (Party Crashers) we incorrectly stated that Ohio State played its Nov. 29 game against Michigan in Ann Arbor. The game took place at Ohio Stadium in Columbus. SI regrets the error.
