Kendall Spray | Mount Juliet, Tenn. | Basketball
Kendall, a 5'6" senior guard at Wilson Central High in Lebanon, scored 54 points, including a state-record 14 three-pointers, in an 88--40 win over Harpeth Hall School. As a junior she set the state mark for threes in a season, with 139. Kendall was averaging 26.1 points and 5.2 rebounds through Sunday. She will play at Tennessee-Martin.
David Carr | Perry Township, Ohio | Wrestling
David, a sophomore at Perry High in Massillon, went 19--0 in December, taking titles at the Walsh Ironman, Beast of the East and Medina Invitational tournaments to maintain the country's No. 1 ranking at 145 pounds. As a freshman at Dayton Christian last season he won a state-high 60 matches, including the Division III 138-pound title.

Alex Carpenter | North Reading, Mass. | Hockey
Carpenter, a senior forward at No. 1--ranked Boston College, scored four times in a 7--2 win over Syracuse to set the school's career goals mark (117). At week's end she led the nation with 50 points on an NCAA-best 27 goals and 23 assists. In 2015, Carpenter won the Patty Kazmaier Award, given to the country's top female hockey player.
Ben Petrella | Liverpool, N.Y. | Cross-country
Ben, a senior at Liverpool High, ran a 5K in 15:43.0, setting a course record at the Class A state championship at Monroe-Woodbury High in Central Valley. He also led his team at the Nike Cross Nationals (NXN) New York Regional with a first-place 15:31.4. At the nationals in Portland, Ben finished sixth in 15:15.1. He will run at West Point.
Symone Wesley | Grapevine, Texas | Volleyball
Symone, a 5'9" freshman outside hitter at Grapevine High, had a .271 hitting percentage with 329 kills to help the Mustangs advance to the regional finals; she was also named the District 6-5A newcomer of the year. Last June she led her Texas Advantage club team to gold in the 14 Open Division at junior nationals in New Orleans.
Rafael Quintero | Rio Grande, Puerto Rico | Diving
Quintero, a senior at Arizona, was runner-up at the USA Diving Winter National Championships, scoring 1414.60 in the platform. He finished second in the preliminary round (465.10) as well as in the semifinal (936.70). An All-America and two-time Pac-12 champion in the platform, Quintero was also an All-America in the one-meter.
