UNTOLD SUPER BOWL STORIES

The Man Behind The Legend

After breaking curfew on the eve of Super Bowl I to spend the night with a couple of flight attendants, Packers wide receiver Max McGee scored the first touchdown in Super Bowl history on a 37-yard pass from Bart Starr. McGee then caught six more passes to help lead Green Bay to a 35--10 victory over the Chiefs. This week, go to SI.com/SuperBowlStories to read Tim Layden's tale of the Packers' playboy who ignored The Man (Vince Lombardi) and got the girl(s!).

RISING STARS

Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins didn't let his team's four-man revolving door at quarterback prevent him from having a breakout season and helping Houston win the AFC South (page 34). Hopkins finished the regular season third in receiving yards (1,521) and receptions (111), and had 11 touchdowns. Can he keep his momentum going during the playoffs? For an exclusive video on Hopkins, as well as the entire Rising Stars series presented by Symetra, go to SI.com/risingstars
