Michael Rosenberg captured beautifully how beloved Joe Louis Arena is (All Wings Must Pass). In a time when Detroit struggled, it was a symbol of hope, a place where anyone of any background could come and feel as one. To this day, I get shivers from the way the whole arena sings "Don't Stop Believin'."
