It’s time for another Genshin Impact livestream: version 3.6 of the game is in its twilight days, so HoYoverse wants to inform players about what they can expect in the upcoming Genshin Impact 3.7 update.

The stream will tell us which Genshin Impact characters will be available to pull from the banners during the new version’s runtime, how the RPG’ story will be continued, and what kind of time-limited events we’ll get to participate in. On top of that, we get to earn free primogems by entering the promo codes distributed during the show.

No VAs have been announced to participate in the show, so we’ll likely get a stream hosted by Da Wei, the founder and CEO of MiHoYo – and those always have a few surprises in store.

Here’s where and when you can catch the Genshin Impact 3.7 livestream.

Genshin Impact Kirara.

Genshin Impact 3.7 livestream: where to watch

You can watch the Genshin Impact 3.7 livestream on the official Genshin Impact Twitch channel at the times stated above.

Additionally, you can catch a rerun of the stream on YouTube exactly one hour later. It’ll also be available as a VOD on YouTube, so you can watch it there any time.

Genshin Impact 3.7 livestream: what to expect

A few things about update 3.7 have already been officially confirmed, such as the new character making their way into the banners: Kirara, a 4-star Dendro vision-holder from Inazuma, joins the playable roster. She’s a nekomata – a youkai with the features of cat and human – and works as a courier.

Curiously, the announcement artwork HoYoverse posted is themed around Genius Invokation TCG, so the popular in-universe card game might play a big role during the events of 3.7 – a few story-related leaks and rumors support this line of thought, as does the version’s title: “Duel! The Summoners’ Summit!”. If these tidbits from the beta tests are correct, the TCG-related main event of the patch will bring together characters from all four regions we’ve traveled to so far, plus one person from Fontaine.

We’ll supposedly get to adventure with Yoimiya again, as the second act of her Story Quest may become available, and learn more about Kaveh in his Hangout Event.

With this likely being a livestream featuring the developers, changes to the game mechanics or even a teaser for the upcoming region of Fontaine may not be out of the cards – pardon the pun. It’s likely that version 3.8 will be the last patch focusing on Sumeru, after which version 4.0 will mark our first foray into the Goddess of Justice’s realm.

A leak from the 3.7 beta test suggests that we may see a Gadget Wheel added to Genshin Impact, which would be a great quality-of-life improvement players have been clamoring to get for a while now.
