The Genius Invokation TCG sees a lot of focus on the best character cards, which are undoubtedly the stars of the show in the best Genius Invokation decks. This new Genshin Impact TCG sees characters clash, but they need decent support if they’re going to stick around and defeat their opponents. These cards help characters compensate for their weaknesses, enhance their strengths, and make critical pushes toward victory.

Katherine – Genshin Impact TCG

This card allows you to reliably trigger elemental reactions, preventing your opponents from reacting to a combo. For the cost of two elemental dice, it lets you turn a character switch into a fast action once per turn. It sticks around for the whole game too, so you get a long bang for your buck.

Dawn Winery – Genshin Impact TCG

Working well with Katherine, this building reduces the cost of character switches by one die. This lets you get a free switch once per turn. When combined with Katherine you can turn this free switch into a fast action instead, setting up some crazy combos.

Timmie – Genshin Impact TCG

Love or hate the real Timmie, his card is one you shouldn’t pass up. It can be played for free and lasts for three rounds. Once that timer is up you’ll draw a card and get an omni die. It’s a completely free investment that will net you a huge boost on the turn it pays off.

Liben – Genshin Impact TCG

Another free card, this one expands your options. It will let you draw two cards and generate two omni dice. However, this effect only activates when it collects three different elemental dice from the pool at the end of your turn. It requires a bit of setup, but it pays off in a big way if you feed it properly, setting you up for a huge turn.

Jade Chamber – Genshin Impact TCG

This permanent building costs one die and can manipulate the elements of some of your dice. Whenever you roll your dice at the start of your turn, two of the dice are guaranteed to be the element of your active character. This boosts your ability to play specific skills and talents, letting you plan with a greater degree of certainty.

Knights of Favonius Library – Genshin Impact TCG

Immediately upon playing this card you and re-roll one of your elemental dice, but there’s more to this card than that. Costing just one die and sticking around permanently, you will be able to re-roll any number of dice at the start of every turn, which can be huge if you get some really bad rolls.

Liyue Harbor Wharf – Genshin Impact TCG

More cards is almost always helpful, as it gives you more options. For the cost of two dice, building this structure will have you draw two extra cards in each end phase.

Paimon – Genshin Impact TCG

At three dice, this is a pricey card, but it’s worth it. It creates two omni dice at the start of the action phase for two turns. This gives you loads of flexibility and opens up the potential for two game-winning turns if you can plan around it.

For one die, Liu Su will charge the energy of the new active character after a switch if it doesn’t already have an energy point. It’s nothing mindblowing, but for the cost of one die, it’s worth throwing out there, as he will perform this action twice in a game. Immediately being able to charge up a character can let you go on the offensive immediately, even if they’re not very powerful.

Favonius Cathedral/Wangshu Inn – Genshin Impact TCG

Two recommendations for the price of one. Both of these are standard healing cards, which are always going to be useful. Favonius Cathedral heal the active character at the end of the turn, letting them stay in the fight longer. Meanwhile, the Wangshu Inn heals the most injured inactive character.

Which one is better depends on the circumstances. If you can’t afford to switch characters, then the Cathedral is the way to go. However, the Inn will let you set up for an injured character to come back in a big way on a future turn.
