Become an undying arbitrator of life and death with the best Honkai: Star Rail Xueyi build and deliver judgment without limitation. A 4-Star character following The Destruction and dealing Quantum Damage, Xueyi is a judge of the Ten-Lords Commission on the Xianzhou Luofu who has been granted an artificial body to continue serving her cause even in death. Pretty metal.

Xueyi’s Skill, Iniquity Obliteration, deals Quantum Damage based on her Attack to a single target as well as a reduced amount of damage to adjacent targets.

Her Ultimate, Divine Castigation, causes Quantum Damage based on her Attack to a single foe, ignoring the enemy’s Weakness Type when depleting their Toughness. Should the move cause Weakness Break, Quantum Weakness Break is inflicted. The more Toughness this attack is depleting, the higher its damage is going to be.

Xueyi is basically a Terminator / HoYoverse

Xueyi’s Talent, Karmic Perpetuation, stacks Karma whenever one of her attacks depletes an enemy’s Toughness – the more Toughness she destroys, the higher the Karma gain is. She additionally gains Karma whenever allies deplete the Toughness of enemies. Once a maximum amount of eight stacks is reached, Xueyi consumes all Karma to unleash a follow-up attack, which deals Quantum Damage based on her Attack three times against random targets.

You can further enhance Xueyi’s power by pulling additional copies of her to boost her Eidolon Level. Eidolon 1 increases the damage of her talent’s follow-up attack by 40%, Eidolon 2 allows that follow-up attack to ignore Weakness Types when depleting Toughness. In addition, they’ll heal Xueyi for 5% of her Maximum HP. Eidolon 4 increases her Break Effect by 40% for two turns when using her Ultimate and Eidolon 6 decreases the maximum possible stacks of Karma to six, allowing Xueyi to use her follow-up attack earlier.

There are several good Light Cones for Xueyi among the available arsenal, which should all serve her very well. Something Irreplaceable and Brighter Than the Sun provide the most benefit in terms of additional Attack, which is the most important stat for Xueyi. Honkai: Star Rail – Xueyi: best teams

Xueyi is a very solid single-target damage dealer and will be quite useful against a variety of enemies thanks to her special power of ignoring Weakness Types with some attacks – she could be great at getting rid of Yanqing’s floating swords, for example.

Xueyi works pretty well in a Quantum-only composition, where she could replace Qingque as a Sub DPS to assist Seele. Silver Wolf has the usual role of debuffing and adding the Quantum Weakness to enemies, while Lynx or Fu Xuan keep the team going.

Xueyi benefits a lot from the presence of Ruan Mei, since she can buff Weakness Break, and from that of Bronya, since attacking more often allows her to accumulate Karma quicker. Sure, Xueyi as a Main DPS won’t outscore any 5-Star characters, but it’s going to be a fun way to play her.

In the Simulated Universe it’s quite entertaining to put Xueyi into a team with other characters capable of follow-up attacks such as Kafka, Topaz, or Clara and then go for an Elation run.

You don't want to end up on Xueyi's "wanted" poster / HoYoverse

Honkai: Star Rail – Xueyi: ascension materials

Here’s everything you need to know to get Xueyi ascended to the maximum level and upgrade all of her talents.

Xueyi requires the following ascension materials to get to level 80 in addition to the necessary XP:

  • Credits x246,000
  • Extinguished Core x12
  • Glimmering Core x13
  • Squirming Core x12

You can farm Extinguished Core, Glimmering Core, and Squirming Core by defeating enemies on Herta Space Station as well as in the Simulated Universe. You can create or exchange them through the Omni-Synthesizer on the Astral Express, too. Extinguished Cores are one of the basic materials you can easily generate through the Daily Assignments to your characters, making for a steady income of the material.

Nail of the Ape is dropped by the Stagnant Shadow in Scalegorge Waterscape or gained through the exchange of similarly rare materials. The best source of Credits is the Great Mine’s Golden Calyx.

Xueyi's artificial body provides her with superhuman toughness, speed, and strength / HoYoverse

Xueyi requires the following materials to upgrade her combat abilities and Traces:

  • Credits x2,400,000
  • Extinguished Core x28

For the materials already mentioned, check above. Shattered, Lifeless, and Worldbreaker Blades are available from the Crimson Calyx in the Storage Zone. As usual, you can create the high-level materials by using lower-level materials in the Omni-Synthesizer on the Astral Express.

Past Evils of the Borehole Planet Disaster is a rarer resource only gained from the Echo of War (Borehole Planet's Old Crater) domain introduced with update 1.6, while Tracks of Destiny can be obtained during time-limited events, the Embers Exchange, the Nameless Honor, or as a Simulated Universe Points Reward.
