It’s a brand-new year, but Amazon Prime Gaming still provides a host of monthly bonuses to its subscribers. In January 2024 anyone with an Amazon Prime membership can look forward to a quartet of free video games with a gut-wrenching tale about the consequences of environmental destruction making a start today: Endling – Extinction is Forever is a BAFTA-winning adventure putting players into the shoes of the last adult fox on Earth, who must brave many dangers and hardships on her quest to lead her newborns to a safe place. It’s now available with Prime at no further cost.

Things continue on January 11, 2024, on a more light-hearted note with Apico, a relaxing game that simulates beekeeping – without the danger of being stung. Atari Mania follows on January 18, 2024, and Yars: Recharged rounds out the month on January 25, 2024, as a free game.

Free Amazon Prime games in January 2024

  • Endling – Extinction is Forever – January 4
  • Apico – January 11
  • Atari Mania – January 18
  • Yars: Recharged – January 25

As usual, January will bring plenty of in-game benefits for many of the most popular titles on the market as well, such as for EA Sports FC 24, Destiny 2, Apex Legends, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Cyberpunk 2077, Hearthstone, Diablo 4, and Pokémon Go.

Items for Riot Games’ League of Legends and Valorant are still available as well, though fans of the publisher’s titles need to get used to the fact that no more goodies for them will be available via Prime Gaming starting in March 2024: Riot stated that Amazon didn’t renew their Prime Gaming partnership. We still don’t know if this a sign of a larger trend of promotions being thinned out or a single occurrence where both sides couldn’t come to a new agreement. In any event, you should grab whatever you can if you’re a Prime member.
