All EA Sports PGA Tour golf pros and ratings
Brush up on EA Sports PGA Tour ratings so you pick the right star each time. There’s more courses than ever and nearly two dozen pro players to choose from, even some who left PGA for LIV Golf. You might be surprised to find some of your favorites didn’t make the cut, though.
PGA Tour player ratings
Nine male golfers made it on the PGA list.
Scottie Scheffler - 92
Scheffler won the 2022 Masters, so it’s no surprise to find him in the top spot here, even with his below-average season in 2023.
Patrick Cantlay - 91
With eight PGA Tour titles under his belt, Cantlay is a force to be reckoned with. He’s also not having the best 2023 so far and probably won’t win the Masters, but his potential remains as strong as ever.
Xander Schauffele - 91
Schauffele is an Olympic gold medalist and took home the Men’s Individual medal in 2020. So far, he’s boasting -4 after the first round of the Masters, so we’re expecting a strong finish from him.
Tony Finau - 90
Finau might not have a long list of impressive wins like some others on the PGA Tour list, but he does have consistency. He performs well in every competition and currently has a -3 in the Masters.
Sungjae Im - 89
Im was Rookie of the Year when he first joined the PGA Tour. He’s since won twice, and Web.com called him Player of the Year.
He’s currently only -1, but considering he just joined a few years ago, that’s still impressive.
Hideki Matsuyama - 88
Matsuyama won the Masters in 2021 and several times before that, but his showing so far in 2023 isn’t quite as impressive. He’s just at -1 in the Masters.
Jordan Spieth - 88
Spieth is outpacing expectations in 2023, so his placement on the list comes as something of a surprise. He has three tournament wins to his name, including the U.S. Open, FedEx Cup, and the Open Championship.
Jason Day - 84
Day’s rating belies a fantastic start to his Masters run and current -7 standing. He also won the PGA Championship in 2015 and was the top player at one point.
Cameron Champ - 78
Champ won the Sanderson Farms Championship, the Safeway Open, and the 3M Open earlier in his career, but right now, he’s at +7 his Masters run. We’re not expecting a strong finish from Champ this time.
LIV Golf player ratings
Saudi Arabia’s LIV Golf tempted a number of players to transfer over from PGA in 2022. We didn’t expect to see them show up in EA Sports PGA Tour, but they came all the same.
Dustin Johnson - 90
Johnson was already a high-profile player when the PGA lost him to LIV Golf, with some major championships to his name, including a 2020 Masters win with an impressive record-setting score of -20.
He’s -2 in the current Masters.
Joaqúin Niemann - 89
Niemann is another popular star who left PGA for LIV and a two-time winner on the PGA Tour.
He’s currently at -2 and will likely end up with top-20 finish.
Bryson DeChambeau - 87
DeChambeau has an impressive eight PGA Tour titles to his name, including a major championship in the 2020 US Open.
His current Masters run is a bit less star-studded. DeChambeau is sitting at +5.
Brooks Koepka - 87
Koepka won four majors, including the US Open and the PGA Championship, and was formerly the top player around the world. He may be set to add another title to his name, as he’s currently at the top of the leaderboard with a -8.
Harold Varner III - 84
Former Australian PGA Championship star Varner won the PIF Saudi International after moving to LIV, but a similar success in the Masters seems unlikely. He currently has a +2 and plenty of competition.
Bubba Watson - 82
Watson won the Masters in 2012 and 2014, but his run this time is probably over. He’s sitting at +5.
Abraham Ancer - 80
Ancer won his first PGA Tour victory in 2021 in the WGC-FedEX St Jude Invitational. Unlike his fellow LIV players, he stands a chance at moving forward in the Masters, as he’s currently at par.
Ian Poulter - 78
Poulter was once fifth in the world, but his career isn’t what it used to be. He’s not even competing in the Masters this year.
LPGA Tour
There are only five women playable in EA Sports PGA Tour, which is disappointing given how much they promoted the sport prior to the sports game’s release.
Nelly Korda - 90
Nelly Korda was once the top player in the world, with seven LPGA wins and an Olympic gold in 2020. She’s currently ranked fourth in the world, but her rating in EA’s game is well earned.
Lexi Thompson - 88
Thompson won the LPGA tournament at just 19 and became the youngest ever competitor to win it. She’s currently ranked seventh in the world, but still has a bright future ahead.
Jin Young Ko - 87
Ko was 2021’s LPGA Player of the Year, with more accolades under her belt than we have space to list right now. She’s currently ranked second in the world, just barely behind the top spot.
Danielle Kang - 86
Winning her first and only major in 2017, Kang has fewer awards than others in EA Sports PGA Tour and won her first – and only – major in 2017.
Despite only having the one major under her belt, Kang is ranked 12th in the world is still a strong competitive player.
Jessica Korda - 86
Nelly’s sister Jessica has six wins in the LPGA and a second-place honor in the Chevron Championship in 2022.
She is currently ranked 16th and seems unlikely to lose her top-twenty position.
Missing players in EA Sports PGA Tour
If you follow the sport closely, you’ve likely noticed a few missing notables from this year’s game, including Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. Though EA didn’t mention why this was the case, it’s likely down to licensing issues with 2K.
A more surprising omission is world number one Jon Rahm. The LPGA number one, and women’s golf’s fastest-ever rising star Atthaya Thitikul, is also nowhere to be seen. However, these and others may make an appearance in the game’s future updates.
