Lord Elrond, ruler of Rivendell, is the first character of the Legendary rank to join the recently released mobile game Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth. Both immortal and wise, his leadership plays an important role in the story Tolkien is telling. In the turn-based RPG, Elrond specializes in healing and will be the best character for that role, at least for the time being.

The Change in the Wind: Elrond Legendary Event will be available in Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth from June 26 to July 3, 2023, following the stories of several notable elves as they prepare to fend off the invading orcs. Play through all seven parts of the event and you’ll have a chance at unlocking Elrond for your own party.

Wielding one of three Rings of Power given to the elves, Elrond is capable of instantly healing his allies and even reviving them after they’ve gone down.

Elrond will work best in squads with fellow Elven characters :: Capital Games / EA

Here is Lord Elronds’s kit in Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth:

  • Ageless Wisdom (Basic Attack)
    • Deals damage to the enemy target and has a chance to grant Regeneration to the most wounded ally.
  • Vilya’s Light (Special Ability)
    • Heals the most wounded ally, granting them Regeneration and Protection. It can also revive a fallen ally from the Elven faction.
  • The Wrath of Rivendell (Ultimate)
    • Summoning the waters of the Bruinen river, Elrond damages all enemies and inflicts Slow on them.

It’s recommended to build up a squad of Arwen, Elohir, and Elladan, who will arrive on June 15, 2023, in preparation for Elrond’s event. According to developer Capital Games, Lord Elrond will become a key asset for players in the upcoming Mines of Moria raids.
