ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) Elena Delle Donne scored 27 points as the Chicago Sky sprinted to an 87-73 victory Saturday night over the Atlanta Dream and the team's best start in franchise history.

Allie Quigley scored 13 points and Courtney Vandersloot, Courtney Clements and Markeisha Gatling each added 10 for Chicago (4-0). Vandersloot also had 11 assists.

The 4-0 start in the best in Chicago's nine WNBA seasons.

The Sky led by as many as 11 points late in the third quarter on the way to a 65-57 advantage heading into the final 10 minutes. The Dream never got closer than eight.

Erika DeSouza led Atlanta with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Shoni Schimmel had 17 points.

Atlanta (2-1) was without All-Star Angel McCoughtry, a late scratch because of a shoulder problem.

Delle Donne scored 14 first half points as the Sky opened a 41-39 lead after two quarters. She converted a 3-point play to force a 39-39 deadlock with 36.3 seconds left and rookie Markeisha Gatling drove for a layup with 5.2 seconds left to give the Sky the lead.

Chicago never relinquished the advantage through the game's final 20 minutes and led by as many as 12 points in the fourth quarter.

Chicago guard Epiphanny Prince rejoined the team this week after a lengthy personal leave. Prince, who averaged 15 points per game last season, was on the bench in street clothes.
