Elena Delle Donne leads Sky past Stars, 93-82

ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) Elena Delle Donne had 29 points and 13 rebounds to help the Chicago Sky beat the San Antonio Stars 93-82 on Sunday.

The WNBA scoring leader was 13 of 23 from the floor, including 3 of 5 from 3-point range.

Courtney Vandersloot added 14 points and eight assists. Cappie Pondexter scored 12 points, and Jessica Breland had 10.

Chicago (10-6) ran out to an 11-3 lead, working inside early with layups by Clarissa Dos Santos, Delle Donne and Vandersloot. A nine-point spurt at the start of the second quarter extended the lead to 17 and the Sky led 50-35 at the half. Delle Donne had 18 points and 10 rebounds in the first half.

The Sky won their fifth straight and swept the season series with the Stars.

Danielle Adams led the Stars (4-12) with 20 points.
