Bentley, Sun extend Shock's losing streak to 10 games

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) Alex Bentley scored 25 points, Kelsey Bone added 15 points and 10 rebounds, and the Connecticut Sun beat Tulsa 80-74 on Wednesday night to extend the Shock's losing streak to 10 games.

It's Tulsa's longest losing streak since a WNBA-record 20-game skid in 2011.

Camille Little added 11 points to help Connecticut (12-10) run its home winning streak to four games.

The Sun started the second half on a 15-6 spurt, including three consecutive 3-pointers by Little and Bentley, to take a 56-54 lead - their first since 16-15. Connecticut outscored Tulsa 23-12 in the third quarter.

All five starters for Tulsa (10-14) scored in double figures. Odyssey Sims and Karima Christmas scored 15 points apiece, and Riquna Williams added 14.

Sims scored 10 first-quarter points as Tulsa built a 29-23 lead. The Shock's lead hit double digits on Jordan Hooper's deep 3-pointer early in the second quarter.
