TEANECK, N.J. (AP) Bria Holmes scored 25 points and made four steals and No. 24 West Virginia had little trouble dispatching Fairleigh Dickinson 80-52 on Wednesday.

Holmes was 11 of 20 from the floor and made 3 of 9 from beyond the arc. Linda Stepney had 13 points and Averee Fields added 10 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had four steals for the Mountaineers (5-1). West Virginia shot 54 percent from the floor, including 5 of 12 on 3-pointers, and held a 39-32 rebounding advantage. Lanay Montgomery blocked five shots and pulled down eight boards.

Fairleigh Dickinson (1-5) was led by Kelsey Cruz with 15 points. Cruz made three 3-pointers and was 6 of 11 shooting overall. The Knights turned the ball over 25 times but had 11 assists on their 19 made baskets.
