TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) Makayla Epps drained a jump shot off a spin move and hit a pair of clutch free throws in the final 36 seconds of overtime to lift No. 18 Kentucky over No. 15 Arizona State 68-64 on Sunday.

The game was Epps' first since being suspended for an alcohol violation last spring, and two early fouls had the junior guard sitting out most of the first quarter. She scored 12 of her 20 points after halftime, including 6 in the last two minutes of overtime.

Janee Thompson added 11 points and Batouly Camara 10 for the Wildcats (2-0).

Sophie Brunner led Arizona State (0-1) with 19 points, including three 3-pointers.

Epps was 8 of 10 from the foul line and sent the game into overtime with a pair of free throws with seven seconds left in regulation.

Arizona State trailed Kentucky 12-10 after a quarter, but erupted for 19 points in the second to hold a 29-17 halftime lead.
