EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) Nia Coffey scored 23 points and grabbed 17 rebounds and No. 12 Northwestern rolled to a 91-47 victory over Alcorn State on Tuesday.

Maggie Lyon had 15 points, Ashley Deary and Christen Inman had 12 each and Jordan Hankins had 10 for the Wildcats (10-0). Lyon and Deary each had six assists, Deary had five steals and Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah had a career-high 13 rebounds.

Northwestern had 26 assists on 36 baskets and a 56-39 margin on the boards.

Alcorn State (1-6), which shot just 28 percent, was led by Norianna Haynes with 20 points and 10 rebounds - and she also had nine of the Lady Braves' 22 turnovers.

Lyon opened the game with a 3-pointer and the Wildcats Alcorn State without a field goal until Jazmin Strane's layup at the 4:43 mark made the score 17-4. It was 31-13 entering the second quarter and 56-27 at halftime.
