UCLA Basketball Vs Washington: How To Watch, Odds, Predictions, And More

The Bruins are looking to rebound.

Your 14-13 UCLA Bruins men's basketball program is back in action tonight, and hoping to improve from its last match, an underwhelming 62-56 home defeat at the hands of the lowly 11-16 USC Trojans on Saturday.

Tonight, the Bruins head to Alaska Airlines Arena to square off against the 15-13 Washington Huskies.

UCLA actually boasts a better overall record within the Pac-12 (9-7) than Washington (7-10). Led by 6'10" sophomore center Adem Bona, the Bruins boast a stout defense (their 98.1 defensive rating ranks 55th among 362 squads), but a listless offense (their 100.9 offensive rating ranks a miserable 297th), and has been pestering them all season.

Forward Keion Brooks Jr. will be the toughest cover for the Bruins. He's averaging a Huskies-leading 21 points on .496/.366/.789 shooting splits, 6.8 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks, plus 1.5 dimes and 0.6 steals per bout.

The action will tip off at 7:40 p.m. PT on FS1. Dan Hellie will handle play-by-play and Casey Jacobsen will serve as the contest's analyst. For those of you who'll be in the car at the time of the match, you can tune into the UCLA Sports Network on AM 570, where Josh Lewin will handle play-by-play duties and Tracy Murray will supply analysis. Folks on the road but apathetic about terrestrial radio can tune in to Sirius XM 382 and the SXM App.

Per SportsLine, UCLA is a +3 underdog. I'm dubious they can salvage what's starting to look like a lost season, especially on the road, given their erratic scoring late. Look for the Huskies to cover, winning 70-64.
