GAME DAY PREVIEW AND INJURY REPORT: The Milwaukee Bucks play the Sacramento Kings to end California trip
The Milwaukee Bucks cap their four-game California sojourn when they lock horns with the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.
The Bucks are 1-2 in the California swing, losing the first two games of the trip against the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers before winning over the undermanned Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday. Milwaukee has won six straight games before the trip.
Giannis, Domantas meet again
Milwaukee and Sacramento are meeting for the second and final time this season. The Bucks barely prevailed over the Kings in their January 14th meeting, scoring a 143-142 overtime win.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Domantas Sabonis dueled in their first meeting with the two big men, who both tallied triple-double performances. Giannis finished with 27 points, ten rebounds, ten assists, and three steals, while Domantas piled up 21 points, 15 feeds, 13 boards, one steal, and a block.
The Bucks are currently second in the Eastern Conference with a 42-23 record. They are 10-9 under coach Doc Rivers. The Kings are seventh in the Western Conference with a 36-27 card.
Milwaukee is 7-3 in its last ten games, averaging 113.7 points, 44.8 rebounds, 24.7 assists, 7.3 steals and 4.5 blocks per game. Sacramento has won four of its last ten matches, averaging 115.6 points, 44.7 rebounds, 28.2 assists, 8.0 steals, and 4.4 blocks per game.
Injury report
Antetokounmpo (right knee tendinitis) is listed as probable, while Khris Middleton (sprained ankle) and MarJon Beauchamp are listed as questionable. Out for the Bucks are Chris Livingston (G-League assignment), Jaylin Galloway (two-way), Ryan Rollins (two-way), and TyTY Washington Jr. (two-way).
Sasha Vezenjov (ankle) is out for Sacramento.
