UPDATE: Anfernee Simons' Current Injury Status For Clippers-Trail Blazers Game

Anfernee Simons is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Portland Trail Blazers will host Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers in Oregon.  

For the game, the Trail Blazers could be without one of their best players, as Anfernee Simons is on the injury report.

Via Portland Trail Blazers PR: "INJURY UPDATE: Ashton Hagans (G League Two-Way) and Anfernee Simons (L Knee Tendinitis) are QUESTIONABLE for tonight’s game vs. LAC."

Simons is in the middle of a productive season with averages of 23.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists per contest while shooting 43.0% from the field and 38.6% from the three-point range in 44 games.  

The Trail Blazers are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 19-49 record in 68 games. 

They have gone 3-7 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Trail Blazers lost to the Chicago Bulls by a score of 110-107 (at the Untied Center). 

Simons had 30 points, three rebounds and nine assists while shooting 10/24 from the field and 4/14 from the three-point range in 39 minutes of playing time. 

Following Wednesday's matchup, the Trail Blazers will host the Clippers (again) on Friday evening. 

At home, they have gone 11-24 in 35 games played in Oregon. 

As for the Clippers, they are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 42-25 record in 67 games. 

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak.
