UPDATE: Anfernee Simons' Injury Status For Trail Blazers-Pelicans Game

Anfernee Simons is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Portland Trail Blazers will be in New Orleans to face off against Zion Williamson and the Pelicans.  

For the game, Anfernee Simons is on the injury report, but he is listed as probable, so he should be available.  

Simons missed the team's last game, so he will likely return after just a one-game absence.

Simons is having a productive season with averages of 23.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists per contest while shooting 42.9% from the field and 38.7% from the three-point range in 42 games.  

The Trail Blazers are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 19-47 record in 66 games. 

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the New York Knicks (at home) by a score of 105-93.

Following their showdown with the Pelicans, the Trail Blazers will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.

As for the Pelicans, they are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 40-26 record in 66 games. 

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 112-104. 

Zion Williamson led the way with 34 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block. 

Following the Trail Blazers, the Pelicans will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center.
