BREAKING: Jimmy Butler's Final Injury Status For Heat-Pistons Game

On Sunday afternoon, the Miami Heat will be in Michigan to face off against the Detroit Pistons.

For the game, the Heat will be without their best player, as Jimmy Butler has been ruled out due to a foot injury.

The six-time NBA All-Star is averaging 21.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field and 42.2% from the three-point range in 47 games. 

The Heat are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 36-30 record in 66 games. 

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Pistons (also in Detroit) by a score of 108-95. 

Butler had 14 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals while shooting 5/11 from the field and 0/1 from the three-point range in 31 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Pistons, the Heat will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers. 

On the road, they are 19-15 in the 34 games they have played away from Miami. 

As for the Pistons, they are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 12-54 record in 66 games. 

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are 7-27 in 34 games at home in Detroit. 

Following the Heat, the Pistons will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics in Massachusetts.
