BREAKING: Luka Doncic's Injury Status In Warriors-Mavs Game

On Wednesday evening, the Dallas Mavericks hosted the Golden State Warriors in Texas. 

During the fourth quarter, All-Star Luka Doncic went to the locker room, and it was announced that he would miss the remainder of the game.    

Doncic finished with 21 points, three rebounds and nine assists while shooting 7/18 from the field and 1/6 from the three-point range in 30 minutes of playing time.   

Via Mavs PR: "Luka Dončić (left hamstring soreness) will not return to tonight's game against the Warriors."

Doncic had come into the evening with averages of 34.6 points, 9.1 rebounds, 9.9 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 49.5% from the field and 38.0% from the three-point range in 57 games.  

The Mavs defeated the Warriors by a score of 109-99 to improve to 38-28 in 66 games.  

Kyrie Irving led the team with 23 points, eight rebounds, ten assists, one steal and one block while shooting 8/16 from the field and 1/5 from the three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time. 

They are in the middle of a four-game winning streak and are 20-15 in 35 games at home in Dallas. 

Following Golden State, the Mavs will play their next game on Thursday evening when they visit the Oklahoma City Thunder. 

As for the Warriors, they dropped to 34-31 in 65 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Western Conference. 

Following the Mavs, they will play their next game on Saturday evening when they visit the Los Angeles Lakers.
