Donovan Mitchell's Official Injury Status For Cavs-Pacers Game

Donovan Mitchell is on the injury report for Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers will play the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis.

For the game, the Cavs will be without their best player, as All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell has been ruled out.

Mitchell is having another excellent season with averages of 27.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.8 steals per contest while shooting 46.8% from the field and 37.3% from the three-point range in 49 games. 

The Cavs are also among the best teams in the NBA with a 42-25 record in 67 games, which has them as the third seed in the Eastern Conference. 

Most recently, the Cavs lost to the Houston Rockets by a score of 117-103. 

Mitchell had 13 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal while shooting 4/13 from the field and 3/8 from the three-point range in 26 minutes of playing time.

Following the Pacers, the Cavs will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they host Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in Ohio.

As for the Pacers, they are the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 38-30 record in 68 games. 

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 121-100.

Pascal Siakam led the way with 28 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. 

Following the Cavs, the Pacers will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons.
