UPDATE: Kyle Kuzma's Current Injury Status For Celtics-Wizards Game

Kyle Kuzma is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

UPDATE: Kyle Kuzma has been ruled out (h/t Josh Robbins of The Athletic). 

On Sunday evening, the Washington Wizards will host the Boston Celtics in Washington, D.C. 

For the game, the Wizards could be without one of their best players, as Kyle Kuzma is on the injury report.   

Via Underdog NBA: "Kyle Kuzma (shoulder) listed questionable Sunday."

Kuzma is averaging 22.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest while shooting 46.5% from the field and 33.6% from the three-point range in 65 games.

That said, the Wizards are among the worst teams in the league and have an 11-56 record in 67 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and are also 2-8 over their last ten games.

Most recently, the Wizards lost to the Chicago Bulls by a score of 127-98.

Kuzma had 11 points, five rebounds, four assists and one steal while shooting 5/10 from the field in 29 minutes of playing time.

Following their matchup with the Celtics, the Wizards will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets. 

As for the Celtics, they are the best team in the NBA (and the first seed in the Eastern Conference) with a 52-14 record in 66 games.  

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a four-game winning streak.  

Following their showdown with the Wizards, the Celtics will return home to host Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons on Monday evening in Boston.
