LaMelo Ball's Official Injury Status For Hornets-Magic Game

LaMelo Ball is on the injury report for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Charlotte Hornets will be in Florida to face off against the Orlando Magic.  

For the game, the Hornets will remain without their best player, as LaMelo Ball has been ruled out. 

The 2022 NBA All-Star has missed each of the previous 25 games, so this will be his 26th straight out of the lineup.

Ball has only played in 22 games this season but has been extremely productive when he's been available. 

His averages are 23.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.8 steals per contest while shooting 43.3% from the field and 35.5% from the three-point range.

As for the Hornets, they are the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 17-51 record in 68 games. 

They have gone 2-8 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

Most recently, the Hornets lost to the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 109-98. 

Following the Magic, they will play their next game on Saturday evening when they visit Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena in Georgia. 

As for the Magic, they are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-28 record in 68 games. 

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
