DeMar DeRozan Made NBA History In Bulls-Pacers Game

DeMar DeRozan made NBA history during Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Chicago Bulls faced off against the Pacers in Indiana. 

The game was extremely close, but the Bulls were able to win by a score of 132-129 (in overtime).   

DeMar DeRozan had an incredible performance with 46 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block while shooting 15/24 from the field in 44 minutes of playing time. 

The former USC star also made NBA history by moving ahead of Elgin Baylor (23,149), Dwyane Wade (23,165) and Adrian Dantley (23,177) for 32nd on the all-time scoring list

DeRozan is in the middle of another productive season with averages of 23.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 47.5% from the field and 33.5% from the three-point range in 64 games.  

With the victory, the Bulls improved to 32-34 in 66 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and are 16-18 in 34 games on the road. 

Following the Pacers, the Bulls will now return home to host the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday evening at the United Center in Chicago. 

DeRozan was the ninth pick in the 2009 NBA Draft and is in his 15th season in the league. 

He has also played for the Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs, and has career averages of 21.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.8% from the field and 29.6% from the three-point range.
