Former Tennessee running back Jaylen Wright has shot up draft boards throughout the predraft process. Former NFL executives are calling him one of the most "underrated" prospects in the entire class, and he could contend to be the first running back off the board in the 2024 NFL Draft.

On Monday morning, Wright joined "Good Morning Football" on NFL Network to discuss his draft preparation. The hosts questioned if he feels like he's "underrated" and what that word has meant to him throughout his career.

"I always walk around with a chip on my shoulder; I feel like I've been underrated my whole life," he explained. "It's nothing new - that just makes me go harder and keep proving my point. I'm the top running back, and there's no limit to what I can do."

Wright's top trait is his home-run ability. He broke off countless long runs throughout his tenure at the University of Tennessee, all of which were explained when he ran an official 4.38-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He had the second-fastest time of any running back at the event and broke down how his speed factors into his game.

"I feel like speed goes a long way. Speed is something you can't really teach," Wright said. "Just me being able to run track and finish long runs - that's where I feel like it really helped me a lot. Speed is everything, and not only speed, I've got balance."
