Baylor Bears Men’s Basketball Ranked No. 17 in Latest AP Rankings

Baylor Bears men’s basketball team leaps four spots to No. 17 in latest Associated Press top 25 poll

The Baylor men’s basketball team jumped four spots in the Associated Press top 25 rankings released on Monday, Jan. 23, with the Bears currently sitting at No. 17.

Baylor (14-5, 4-3 Big 12) won both its conference games this past week, garnering a seven-point victory at Texas Tech on Jan. 17 and a two-point win at Oklahoma on Jan. 21.

Coach Scott Drew and the Bears aim to continue their winning ways when they host the No. 9 Kansas Jayhawks on Monday, Jan. 23 at 8 p.m. Central Time on ESPN.

The Big 12 Conference currently has six teams ranked in the Top 25: No. 5 Kansas State, No. 9 Kansas, No. 10 Texas, No. 11 TCU, No. 12 Iowa State and No. 17 Baylor.
