The Baylor Bears and Oklahoma Sooners meet at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium Saturday each riding two game winning streaks and clinging to fleeting conference championship hopes.

Both teams sit at 6-3, with Baylor having the edge going into the game with just two conference losses to Oklahoma's three. The Bears come into the contest off a dominating 45-17 win at Texas tech last week while the Sooners muscled out a 27-13 victory at Iowa State.

While the Bears upset the previously undefeated Sooners last November, both these teams' starting lineups are almost completely changed. This will be the first matchup as head coaches for Dave Aranda and Oklahoma boss Brent Venables, with the two last meeting as defensive coordinators for LSU and Clemson respectively in the 2019 National Championship game.

The Bears will look to continue their ground attack against the worst rush defense in the Big 12 and freshman running back Richard Reese is 90 yards away from setting the program's single-season record for rushing yards by a freshman.

On the other sideline, the Sooners have become a ground-and-pound team themselves, with running back Eric Gray totaling more than 400 yards combined in the last two games, both Oklahoma victories.
