Jaren Hall may be without star receivers Puka Nacua and Gunner Romney against Baylor this week, but that doesn't change the fact that this Cougars team will be far more prepared to face Baylor this season.

In last year's 38-24 game in Waco, the Bears rolled over BYU in the second half and dominated the line of scrimmage. Cougars coach Kalani Sitake remarked after the loss, "I feel like we got physically handled." But that might not be the case this year.

Jake Hatch, host of Locked On Cougars, joins Drake for a crossover episode where the size of both teams became quite the talking point. According to Jake, the Cougars spent the entire offseason trying to become Baylor. Sitake and company preached to their team that Baylor is the standard BYU wants to reach.

With a more intensive offseason and a continued focus on getting bigger, faster and stronger, Jake is confident BYU has reached a level of physicality that is on par with Baylor.

The guys also take a deep dive into the atmosphere in Provo, Utah. Last season, Baylor's first true road test against Oklahoma State was a loss where newer players blinked in the face of hostility. The odds of such happening at BYU are high.

Coupling a bigger BYU team with a rowdy night crowd, Dave Aranda will work overtime this week to get his team ready. Blake Shapen will have to continue his success through the air, the secondary needs to set the tone again and Baylor has to dominate far more in the trenches.
