Bears C Jacob Gall Named to PFF All-Big 12 Offensive Team

Jacob Gall was an anchor along the offensive line for Baylor and helped fuel Baylor's dominant ground game.

There are few positions that are more underappreciated in football than the offensive line. Without a good offensive line it doesn't matter how good your skill guys are, they won't have time to make plays work.

This was the case for the Baylor Bears, as their dominant offensive line helped them produce one of the best rushing attacks in not just the Big 12 but in all of college football.

While the entire offensive line is important and serves their purpose at their respective position, the center is arguably the most important position after the quarterback. For the Bears, that was Jacob Gall.

Gall was crucial in the Bears' offensive success this season, so much so that PFF College named him to their All-Big 12 Team for the center position.

Behind Gall and the Bears' offensive line, Baylor's rushing attack rushed for a whopping 194.1 yards per game.

There are not as many quantifiable or counting stats for the offensive line, but without them, the offense would never move the ball. As for Gall, he was the anchor of an elite Bears offensive line, one that helped the Bears put up impressive offensive numbers despite an otherwise forgettable season.
