Baylor vs. Texas Tech Week 9 Kickoff Time Announced

The Bears will hit the road and take on the Red Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 29.

The Baylor Bears entered the season as the favorites to win the Big 12 champions, repeating for the first time since they did so in 2013 and 2014. However, through three conference games, the Bears sit at 1-2 against the Big 12.

While the Bears' chances at making the Big 12 championship game aren't completely gone, the path to getting there has only gotten more difficult. However, they can only play one game at a time.

On Monday, the Bears' kickoff time for their Week 9 game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders was announced, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. central and set to air on ESPN2.

Last season the Bears held on to beat the Red Raiders 27-24, en route to their Big 12 championship. A year later and the two programs are in very different places than they were.

The Bears are looking to get back on track after a rough start in conference play while the Red Raiders are finding their footing under first-year coach Joey McGuire.

Of course, one win or one loss doesn't entirely define an entire team's season, but a loss to the Red Raiders could mean the Bears are further away from getting back to a Big 12 title appearance than many thought entering the season.
