Baylor and Gonzaga are slowly creating one of the great nonconference rivalries in college basketball. Two 'new bloods,' the squads have combined to attend three national championships in the last five seasons — one of which where they faced each other. Now, in 2022, the two teams will meet again in South Dakota to declare the better of the squads for the upcoming season. Locked On Zags' host Andy Patton joins Drake on today's show to give insight on next year's Bulldog squad.

Over the course of the first two segments in the show, Drake and Andy kick around the history of the two teams when facing one another and offer insider profiles on how the squads shake out next season. Gonzaga sees big man Drew Timme return to the roster for year number 43, and Baylor brings back big names like Adam Flagler and LJ Cryer. Building pieces like Keyonte George, Langston Love and Jalen Bridges around those guards, Baylor could certainly overpower Gonzaga — but the Bulldogs will be no slouches. Andy is very confident this game will come right down to the wire.

And that's exactly where the show rounds out. The two hosts kick around the idea of what it will be like when Baylor and Gonzaga hit the floor next season — and how Scott Drew stacks up in another matchup with Mark Few. With these two coaches and these two teams going toe-to-toe, there's no doubt the nation's eyes will be watching something fantastic.
