Coach Prime and Colorado have plenty to be thankful for this Thanksgiving

The Head Coach recorded his last Coaches radio show of the season

After a magical September, the following couple of months were certainly disappointing. However, there may be a silver lining.

On the Colorado Football Coaches radio show, Coach Prime asked a very simple question to the audience. “Do you see progress?” The response was overwhelmingly positive.

Thanksgiving is a time for families and football. One of the joys of following Colorado this year is seeing how the coach balances both. No other coach in college athletics has invited the fans into his home quite like the leader of the Buffs.

It was refreshing to hear him tell host Mark Johnson the things that he’s thankful for this Thanksgiving.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity. I’m thankful for God’s grace and his mercy. I’m thankful for the love and the commitment and the passion. And the hope that you all have instilled in us…I’m thankful for the packed stadiums. [hugging Coach Hart onstage] I’m thankful for Coach Hart…We’re so blessed and so thankful. We’re losing but we’re winning.”
