During FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff, Joel Klatt delivered yet another quality performance as FOX’s College Football Stalwart. However, not even University of Colorado students nor alumni were prepared for Klatt to revert to full CU Student-Athlete form live on national television.

The former Buffs QB took it personal and threw some shade literally and figuratively.

"I want to give a shout out to Colorado State for being the backup school for everybody that got into Colorado," Klatt said as he put some shades on.

Klatt reminds us he's a CU Dawg in a national sports personality suit. He adds a little savagery sprinkled on like a nice seasoning to an already appetizing dish. Klatt did not skip a beat or mince words when he let the country know how this Colorado Buffalo sees today’s opponent. He also didn’t need Coach Norvell to take a shot at Coach Prime.

Whether in tribute to Coach Prime or to pile on Coach Norvell, Klatt had time today. Either one or both only endears Joel Klatt to the Colorado Buffaloes fanbase that had already celebrated him as one of their own.

No. 18 Colorado hosts CSU at Folsom Field on Saturday night. A 10 p.m. ET broadcast on ESPN.
