Keyshawn Johnson says Oregon sought help from outside coaches to beat Colorado

Super Bowl Champion says the Ducks needed help against Deion Sanders' Buffs

Keyshawn Johnson spoke his truth about Colorado's loss to 9th-ranked Oregon. The former Super Bowl Champion said the Ducks needed help from outside sources to beat the Buffs during Monday's breakdown on FOX's Undisputed.

"I spoke to somebody in the coaching fraternity right after the game," Johnson said. "They know some people that coach at Oregon. And they were telling me, they said man, 'I've never heard from another assistant coach of how much information was being given to that staff about--I'm being real with it--about game planning against Colorado, so that you could beat 'em.'"

Johnson knows the deck is stacked against Deion Sanders and like he said he's not even playing out on the field. Even after earning a gold jacket and being considered one of the best to ever play football, he still doesn't get the respect he deserves.

Colorado lost by 36 points and gave up 522 yards in the process. It was the first real test of adversity for Sanders and the Buffaloes this season. The national media was singing the praises of a CU turnaround and the hype train all but came to an abrupt end after the Oregon loss.

Dan Lanning tried to make the Ducks the focus of attention, but failed to rip the spotlight away from Sanders. Not to mention, he tried running up the score at all costs. However, Oregon still got the win and Coach Prime called it a "old fashioned butt whooping" after the game. He's not telling a lie and it was all class from him in the postgame press conference.

Colorado tries to regroup against 8th-ranked USC on Saturday. Johnson's alma mater heads to Boulder for a FOX Big Noon Kickoff feature. A packed sideline full of Hollywood guests is expected for the contest.
