The Big 12 Conference will be transitioning to Las Vegas for its 2024 Football Media Days, per an announcement on Monday. The first-ever time for the league to transcend into Sin City for an event. All previous Media Days were held in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The much-anticipated gathering will be held on July 9th and 10th from Allegiant Stadium, which just hosted Super Bowl 58. It will spotlight all of the head football coaches and multiple players from each Big 12 school.

Commissioner Brett Yormark said in a statement to Big12Sports.com, “I’m thrilled to announce Big 12 Football Media Days are heading west for the first time in league history. The Big 12 lives at the intersection of sports and entertainment, [and] as the Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas is an ideal location to kick off the 2024 season. We are grateful to the Las Vegas Raiders and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority for their partnership and support.”

The Big 12 expands to a 16-team league that will operate in ten states and all four continental US time zones. This will mark the first official league event for the Colorado Buffaloes as they return to the conference later this year. Expect Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter, Shilo Sanders, Coach Prime and more to represent CU out in Vegas.

The Big 12 Conference also announced that the Bellagio will be the official hotel for Media Days.
