With the college football world waiting in anticipation to learn where five-star offensive lineman Jordan Seaton will sign, Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes received a verbal commitment from one of his high school teammates. Cash Cleveland, a 6-foot-3, 285-pound three-star offensive lineman out of IMG Academy (Brandenton, FL) announced his intentions to play for the Buffaloes next fall.

“Coach Prime, I’m coming,” Cleveland jubilantly announced as he donned a Buffaloes trucker hat and a pair of shades. South Florida, Tennessee and Georgia Tech were the other hats displayed on the table he was sitting at. Cleveland played his first three years at Rockwall-Heath (TX) High School before transferring to IMG Academy for his senior season. Per 247Sports, Cleveland is expected to join the Buffaloes as a preferred walk-on. Colorado has received commitments from four offensive linemen for the Class of 2024, all of whom are transfers.

The starting center for IMG Academy this season, Cleveland played alongside five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton. Per 247Sports’ rankings, Seaton is the top-offensive lineman and 13th best overall prospect for the Class of 2024. Two weeks ago, Seaton made an appearance on FOX Sports’ ‘Undisputed’ and verbally committed to the Buffaloes. This Tuesday, on the first day of the early signing period, a cryptic image posted by Seaton on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) sent the college football world into a tizzy, with most pundits suggesting he may sign elsewhere.

Thursday night, however, a video was posted on Well Off Media’s YouTube channel showing Shedeur Sanders and Seaton o facetiming with each other. Friday morning, Deion Sanders Jr. posted a story on Instagram of him hanging with Seaton. It remains uncertain as to when the five-star lineman will officially sign.
