Florida Gators standout wide receiver Ricky Pearsall continues to climb NFL Draft boards as the 2024 selection process quickly approaches.

Returning to school in 2023 with an intention to boost his stock with a second-straight productive campaign donning orange and blue threads, Pearsall saved his best collegiate season for last.

Accounting for 965 yards and four touchdowns on 65 receptions to pair with 62 yards and two scores on just three touches as a rusher, the Chandler, Ariz., proved integral to the success — albeit limited — the UF offense realized.

His sure hands and ability to create separation out of his break appeared consistently on tape throughout the year. As a result, he generated positive national buzz for his eventual move to the professional level, although he maintained Day 3 grades.

But since he entered into the selection pool, Pearsall has shined in the pre-draft process, with a strong showing on the field at the Reese's Senior Bowl and impressive testing numbers in Indianapolis for the NFL Combine.

Various draft analysts have taken notice. He's built considerable momentum to be picked as early as the top of the second round.

Most recently, on the heels of his impressive combine performance, Pearsall moved forward nine spots in NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah's 2024 top 50 prospect rankings

The former Gators' wideout climbed from No. 48 during the last rendition of Jeremiah's list, now sitting as the No. 39 overall player and No. 7 wideout. His nine-spot jump was the biggest of any prospect among the top 50.

You can read Jeremiah's evaluation of Pearsall below.

Pearsall is a loose, smooth wideout with outstanding hands and toughness. He is quick in his release and he understands how to change gears as a route runner. He is fluid getting into and out of breaks. He has outstanding hands. He attacks the ball at the highest point and makes some circus catches (SEE: one-handed gem vs. Charlotte). After the catch, he is quick to transition up the field and has the elusiveness to make defenders miss in space. He has a lean frame, but he plays with excellent toughness and competitiveness. Pearsall followed up an excellent 2023 season with a solid week at the Senior Bowl and should have a starting role from Day 1 for his drafting team.

Pearsall will have one more opportunity to impress scouts during Florida's Pro Day, which is likely to be held in late March but has yet to be announced.

The 2024 NFL Draft will span April 25–27 in Detriot, Mich.
