The Florida State Seminoles (4-0, 2-0 ACC) are coming off a thrilling overtime victory 31-24 victory over the Clemson Tigers (2-2, 0-2 ACC) this past Saturday as they continue their charge defeating what some would say the toughest opponent that was left on their schedule.

"That was probably the worst loss I've ever been a part of," Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said during his post game interview. "You win one like that it is top of the world. You lose one like that you're just sick to your stomach."

The game remained tied at times in the second half, and a forced fumble by linebacker Kalen DeLoach turned the tides in favor of the 'Noles. Swinney had said before the matchup that if they wanted any chance to win against FSU, they would have to win the turnover battle, which they did not.

"You know, obviously, the offensive fumble for a touchdown was the critical play in the game," Swinney said. "A chance to go up by 14 and all the momentum turned there."

There were a few different plays that swung in favor of the 'Noles. Having one of the best teams in the country doesn't always add up to wins and championships. Making those critical plays when they matter, and a little luck sprinkled in, can do wonders for a team with National Championship aspirations.

"You gotta congratulate Florida State they literally made one more play than we did," Swinney said.

That play would be a 24 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jordan Travis to wide receiver Keon Coleman to seal the victory in overtime breaking a much needed losing streak to the Tigers for FSU.

Florida State now looks ahead to to a much needed bye week before taking on Virginia Tech at home.
