2025 Running Back Lucas Farrington Sets Georgia Tech Visit Date

Farrington will be visiting The Flats this March

Georgia Tech is gearing up for spring practice which means not only will they be playing some actual football, but they will be hosting some of their top targets at practice. One of those targets will be 2025 running back Lucas Farrington and he announced on social media today that he is going to be on The Flats on March 11th.

Farrington plays at Woodward Academy in Georgia and has offers from Colorado, Arkansas, Duke, Louisville, Marshall, Maryland, Miami, Missouri, Purdue, Tulane, and USF among other.

The other visits that Farrington will be taking are to Louisville, Tennessee, Miami, and Ohio State.

Georgia Tech is still looking for its first commitment of the 2025 class, but they have been in the running for several prospects and making the cut in several top lists. The most recent one comes from four-star wide receiver Taz Williams Jr. Now, with former Georgia Tech wide receivers coach Josh Crawford taking the running backs job at Georgia that could change, but let's wait to see who Brent Key decides to hire.

Alabama, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, Florida State, Texas A&M, Baylor, SMU, and Penn State were the other schools that made Williams top ten.

Williams Jr is ranked as a four-star prospect on the 247Sports Composite and he is ranked as the No. 244 prospect in the country, the No. 29 wide receiver, and the No. 41 prospect in the state of Texas.

The offer list for Williams is impressive. Alabama, Auburn, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Houston, Kansas, Louisville, Miami, LSU, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin, among others.
