WATCH: DJ Wagner's first bucket in a Kentucky uniform was a beauty

DJ Wagner shows off the speed and shiftiness early against New Mexico State.

The college basketball season is finally here, which means we get to see all of the Cat's talented freshmen.

DJ Wagner just scored his first basket in a Kentucky uniform, and man, was it pretty.

Wagner showed off the speed and the shiftiness while scoring this basketball when he was able to go among the trees and finish with a kiss off the glass.

It was one of those plays where when Wagner was getting to the rim with all of his moves, you thought to yourself, if he can finish this, it will be an immediate highlight play, and he sure did finish.

Wagner has looked good in all facets of the game so far, as he has made some pretty passes and played great defense.

Big Blue Nation will get to see Wagner make highlight reel plays all season long, which will make you wonder: How did he make that shot?

Let's take a look at Wagner's first basket in a Kentucky uniform.
