2024 Top-10 prospect Jayden Quaintance is down to four schools and will no longer consider the G-League Ignite pathway, per his coach.

The 16-year-old must complete two years of college before being NBA Draft eligible in 2026.

Kentucky, Florida, Ohio State and Missouri are his final four schools according to On3.

He is ranked as the No. 12 player in the class according to 247Sports and the number six player according to On3. In the composite rankings, Quaintance is the 11th-best player in the 2024 class.

The big man from Cleveland, Ohio, was once part of the 2025 class but reclassified to the 2024 class this summer.

According to On3's recruit prediction machine, the Cats are currently leading in Quaintance's recruitment, as they have a 27.2% chance to land him. The next closest team is Ohio State, who has an 18.0% chance of landing the big man.

The Cats have a good shot at landing this talented center who would become the second big man committed in the 2024 class.

Somto Cyril is a four-star center who is currently committed to Kentucky.

If the Cats were able to land Quaintance, they would have brought in a top-ten big man in back-to-back classes, as 247Sports had Aaron Bradshaw ranked 5th in the 2023 class.
