Four different Kentucky players brought home an SEC postseason award

Kentucky's 2023-24 roster is stacked with stars.

The reason the Kentucky Wildcats are a National Championship contender is thanks to all of the talent on the 2023-24 roster.

The Wildcats have game after game had five, sometimes six players scoring in double figures, which is why this team is so hard to beat. On any given night, one of a handful of different players can score 20+ points.

All of this talent has led to Kentucky cleaning up in the postseason SEC awards. Antonio Reeves was named All-SEC First Team. Reed Sheppard was the Freshman of the Year and named to the All-Freshman Team. Rob Dillingham was the SEC's Sixth Man of the Year and named to the All-Freshman Team. Lastly DJ Wagner was named to the All-Freshman Team.

All four of these players have been really good for Kentucky this season. If Justin Edwards had played the way he is right now all season long, he would have made the All-Freshman Team, and if Ugonna Onyenso hadn't missed a good portion of the season, he likely would have been named to the All-Defensive Team.

This Kentucky team is playing really good basketball at the right time, with the SEC Tournament and NCAA Tournament right around the corner.

Dillingham, any other season, would have been the Freshman of the Year, but he and Sheppard have both been incredible this season and good on the SEC for giving Dillingham Sixth Man of the Year.

Coach Calipari's team is talented and confident at a really good time of the season. These young stars are ready to show the world what they have under the bright light of March Madness.
