Halftime Thoughts: Kentucky is raining threes in Nashville

Halftime thoughts as Kentucky leads Vanderbilt 54-38.

The Kentucky Wildcats are in Nashville, Tennessee taking on the Vanderbilt Commodores and lead 54-38 at the half.

Just about everything has got right for the Wildcats as they are shooting 71% 10-14 from three in the first half. Antonio Reeves has made four threes, and Rob Dillingham has made three. Combined, they are 7-8 from deep.

Kentucky also grabbed eight offensive rebounds in the first half, which turned into 12 second-chance points.

We finally are seeing Zvonimir Ivisic back on the floor and he has seven points on 3-5 shooting.

The defense has been fine to this point, but the Commodores are the worst teams in the SEC and have found a way to get plenty of open looks. This game will be a step in the right direction, but defensively, this team has a long way to go. Kentucky blowing out the Vanderbilt Commodores will give this team confidence when the Gonzaga Bulldogs come to town on Saturday.

Let's take a look at how to watch Kentucky's matchup with the Vanderbilt Commodores.
