Halftime Thoughts: Kentucky needs to find a way to defend better and take care of the basketball

Texas A&M leads Kentucky 48-42 at the half.

Kentucky is taking on a Texas A&M team that has been playing its best basketball of the season, and the Aggies are shooting well so far in this ballgame.

Texas A&M leads 48-42 at the half, but it feels like it could be worse for John Calipari's team.

The Aggies are 8-16 from deep so far, and most of them are coming from Wade Taylor IV, as he has four. Kentucky's guards are taller than Texas A&M's, so the Wildcats need to start defending close, or they could have an early exit from Nashville.

Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham need to keep shooting the basketball as they are hot in the early going. Antonio Reeves also needs to shoot more, as he is 2-3 with six points.

Kentucky can crawl back into this game but they need a strong effort on both ends of the floor to make it happen.

Let's take a look at how to watch Kentucky's matchup with the Texas A&M Aggies.
