How many Kentucky Wildcats are top ten players in the South Region?

Kentucky has the most talent in the South Region.

The South Region has some talented teams like Houston, Marquette, Duke, Wisconsin, and, of course, the Kentucky Wildcats.

Great teams mean this region is also full of great players, which is the case in the South Region.

Popular Twitter/X page College Basketball Report put out their top ten players in the South Region, and three Kentucky Wildcats were listed. This was the most in the region, with Marquette being the only other team in the region with multiple players, as they had two. Creighton and UConn were the only other teams with three players listed as top ten players in their region.

The three Wildcats on this list were Antonio Reeves, Rob Dillingham, and Reed Sheppard.

Let's take a look at the top ten players in the South Region according to College Basketball Report.

Top Ten Players in the NCAA Tournament's South Region

1) Jamal Shead, Houston

2) Tyler Kolek, Marquette

3) Antonio Reeves, Kentucky

4) KJ Simpson, Colorado

5) Kyle Filipowski, Duke

6) Wade Taylor IV, Texas A&M

7) AJ Storr, Wisconsin

8) Rob Dillingham, Kentucky

9) Reed Sheppard, Kentucky

10) Oso Ighodaro, Marquette

In my opinion, both Dillingham and Sheppard should be higher on this list, but all of the players listed are incredibly talented and deserve to be listed. It seems that Both Dillingham and Sheppard will have an excellent showing in the tournament and be a massive part of the reason this team makes a run.

Kentucky is in a really good region full of talented players and a bunch of All-American selections.
