Kentucky basketball holding strong in KenPom ratings following win over Florida
The Kentucky Wildcats are building some serious momentum following their road win over the Florida Gators.
UK is now sitting at No. 17 in the KenPom ratings and will look to crack the top five in the AP top 25 on Monday afternoon.

Notes:
Kentucky had a 100% 2-foul participation until the Penn game, where it tanked to 9.1%. It's now at 12.0%. I have no idea why this happened. It was likely an error in KenPom's system.
Kentucky has become less reliant on the outside shot over its last few games. The Wildcats now sit outside the top 90 in 3-point distribution. It will be interesting to see if SEC defenses run UK off of the three-point line as much as Florida did.
The defense gave up 85 points against Florida but rose in the KP ratings, jumping seven spots from No. 50 to No. 43 following the Wildcats' win. Holding the Gators to inefficient shooting percentages both inside and outside the arc while limiting their damage on the offensive glass (relative to their abilities) helped create the rise.
Bench minutes have slightly decreased again. I expect the rotation to stay nearly the exact same throughout conference play.
